Tonifies Spleen Qi, Harmonizes the Stomach, Transforms Dampness, Benefits the Lungs, Stops Diarrhea Spleen Qi deficiency with damp accumulation presenting with loose stools, pasty stools, diarrhea, undigested food in the stool, borborygmus, listlessness, fatigue, particularly fatigue after meals, poor appetite or indeterminate gnawing hunger, weight loss, abdominal distention, mild abdominal pain that improved with pressure, indigestion, nausea, vomiting, poor muscle tone and weakness of the limbs, pale or sallow complexion, stifling sensation in the chest, chronic cough with abundant clear or white phlegm, copious white or watery vaginal discharge, edema. Tongue: pale, swollen, thin white greasy coat Pulse: thin, weak, soft diarrhea, pediatric diarrhea, malnutrition (especially in children), diarrhea that occurs as a side effect of antibiotics, HIV retroviral treatment or chemotherapy, chronic gastroenteritis, chronic colitis, Crohn's disease, malabsorption syndrome, leaky gut syndrome, gastric ulcer, hypoglycemia, diabetes mellitus, anemia, leukorrhea, edema, chronic nephritis, chronic hepatitis, pulmonary tuberculosis, AIDS 2-3 tablets, 3 x day. For children aged 3-7 use up to 1/3 of the adult dosage, and for children aged 7-13 up to 1/2 of the adult dosage. Administer half an hour before or one hour after eating, or with food to facilitate the digestion of meals. In the initial phases of treatment, a 50% increase in dosage may be used, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the treatment takes effect. May be used long-term for several weeks to several months. May be used safely over the course of several years. During the treatment the patient should be advised to avoid all cold raw foods and dairy products.
