Indications:
presenting with recurrent common colds and flu, spontaneous sweating with little or no exertion, aversion to wind, chronic nasal discharge with copious clear mucus, shortness of breath, tendency to itchy skin, pale, shiny complexion, digestive weakness, diarrhea, fatigue, listlessness, low and soft voice.

Biomedical Applications:
decreased immunological resistance, recurrent upper respiratory infections, allergic rhinitis, chronic rhinitis, atopic asthma, exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, mild bronchitis (especially in children) , allergic dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, chronic colitis

Standard Dosage:
9-10 (4.5 - 5 teaspoons) grams per day.

Clinical Dosage:
For children 2-5 years old 1/3 adult dose, 5-10 years old half adult dose, 11 years old and up 2/3 to full adult dose. Administer half an hour before or one hour after eating. In severe cases or in the initial phases of treatment, a 50% increase in dosage may be used, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the treatment takes effect. May be used long-term for several weeks to several months. May be used safely over the course of several years.

Ingredients:
Astragalus membranaceus root, Atractylodes macrocephala rhizome, Ledebouriella divaricata root. - Huang qi, Bai zhu, Fang feng.

Cautions & Contraindications:
Contraindicated during the early stages of acute illness such as cold and flu, or during an acute infection. Use with caution in hypertension as Huang qi/astragalus may raise blood pressure in some cases.
