Administer half an hour before or one hour after eating. In severe cases or in the initial phases of treatment, a 50% increase in dosage may be used, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the treatment takes effect. For insomnia due to stress one dose may be administered before bed. May be used long-term for several weeks to several months. May be used safely over the course of several years. Bupleurum chinense root, Angelica sinensis root, Atractylodes macrocephala rhizome, Paeonia lactiflora root, Poria cocos fungus, Zingiber officinale rhizome-fresh, Glycyrrhiza uralensis root, Mentha haplocalyx herb. - Chai hu, Dang gui, Bai zhu, Bai shao, Fu ling, Sheng jiang, Gan cao, Bo he. Contraindicated during the early stages of acute illness such as cold and flu, or during an acute infection. Use with caution in breast-feeding women as Bo he/mint may reduce the production of breast milk in some cases.
